Double or twin accommodation is available in this friendly home situated within interesting terraced gardens, which were part of the Open Gardens scheme in Kingsbridge this year.

Higher Beeson House is a hidden gem in the South Devon coastal countryside. Luxurious Bed and Breakfast in an informal, relaxed atmosphere set in a tranquil valley just under a mile from Beesands fishing village.
Three of our rooms are in a stone barn which was converted from its former life of the farm stables; all are spacious, superior, individually designed en-suite bedrooms. All rooms have super-king-size beds; one room has a four-poster bed. There is a choice of shower or spa bath in the double en-suites; the four-poster room has shower and spa bath. New in 2010 is our Garden Room, another conversion from a small detached stone barn overlooking the garden and pond. This is a twin bedded room; with en-suite shower room. All rooms are centrally heated and have 32”TVs and DVD players, beverage trays, hairdryers, ironing facilities and safes. Duvets and pillows are all hypoallergenic. There is a shared guests’ fridge.
Relax in the owner’s dining room; a short walk across the courtyard, to enjoy a delicious, traditional Aga cooked breakfast using local produce.

The small village of Slapton is 1.5 miles away, where there is a shop, a pub and a bus stop. If it's the sea you are after, it is 2.5 miles away, where you can walk along the Ley and take in the wildlife. Kingsbridge is a larger town, approximately 8.5 miles, where there are local shops aswell as a couple of supermarkets.

Dating back to Saxon times Longbow Barns is situated high up in the town of Dartmouth with commanding views down through the trees, over the town and out to the Dart estuary and sea, yet only a short distance down into the town and all its amenities. The attraction of the Barn is that it comprises two apartments (Upper accommodates 4) (Lower accommodates 6) that can be rented separately or combined to give accommodation for up to 10. The Barn offers the perfect location for a family holiday or a get together with friends. We offer weekly holidays or short breaks of either 2 or 3 nights or 4 or 5 nights duration.

Milwheel Cottage, Colmer Estate
Colmer Estate is a unique collection of 20 holiday cottages set in the centre of the idyllic South Hams in South Devon. Each of the self catering holiday cottages is privately owned and enjoys its own style and individuality, but all share the same commitment to quality. The charming, old, stone buildings of Colmer’s original farming estate have been converted into rustic self catering holiday cottages which combine traditional character with modern convenience.
There is a Georgian Manor House which is now converted into individual holiday apartments. The 28 acres of grounds vary from landscaped lawns and walled gardens to wild woodland and meadows. There are heated indoor and outdoor pools, a tennis court, gym, safe play areas and a fishing lake. All of these facilities and more are provided free of charge. Milwheel Cottage has two bedrooms, spacious open-plan living and is ideal for up to 2 adults and 2 children + cot . Bedroom 1 offers a king size bed and bedroom 2 has 3’ bunk beds and a cot. Millwheel Cottage is part of the Old Mill block, and the rear window of the second bedroom looks out onto the massive mill wheel itself.
Norton Park, Near Dartmouth - The chalets are in a prime position on Norton Park with beautiful country views and a glimpse of the Dart Estuary below. The site has lawns around the chalets with space for outdoor picnics and for children to play well away from any traffic.
Norton Park is about 1 mile from the Centre of the historic town of Dartmouth and about 7 miles to the equally historic Totnes.
