Only 10 minutes drive to the historic port of Dartmouth with its extensive range of shops, restaurants and cafes Within a short drive through the rolling South Hams countryside you can access many beautiful towns, villages, beaches and coastal paths. The splendour of Dartmoor is also readily accessible.
 
All our rooms have been decorated to a high standard and we have tried to include everything we can to make your stay both comfortable and enjoyable. Every room has beautiful countryside views over rolling farmland to the sea in the distance at the mouth of the river Dart. One of the doubles and the twin room have lovely balconies.
 
 
Set in the idyllic Devon countryside within Dartmoor National Park. Glazebrook with its situation mid-way between Exeter and Plymouth, only 5 minutes from the A38 and 30 minutes drive from the coast offers the perfect location for many activities. You may choose to relax and simply enjoy the unspoilt Devon Countryside or take part in something more adventurous
We have a superb restaurant in which we offer first class cuisine. We take great pride in the way we present our table d'hote and a la carte lunch and dinner menus. All our dishes are prepared with the freshest and best ingredients, under the watchful eye of our chef David Merriman.
 

The Hotel offers superb en-suite rooms, including three four poster bedroom suites, all beautifully furnished and enjoying lovely countryside and garden views. Touches of luxury include hand made toiletries by Pure Lakes, natural skin care that doesn’t cost the earth. Ingredients include organic sunflower, coconut oils, lavender and chamomile.

 

Strete Barton House, Strete -  is a 16th Century Manor House which is home to an AA 5 star rated luxury guest house/bed and breakfast set in extensive grounds in the picturesque village of Strete, near Dartmouth in the South Hams area of Devon. Panoramic sea views across Start Bay from Start Point light-house to the mouth of the river Dart. Ideally situated to explore the South Hams; only one mile from the award winning beaches of Slapton and Blackpool Sands, Slapton Ley Nature Reserve and lake. The South West Coast Path is a mere 30 metres away.

His team of talented young chefs prepare all meals on the premises using only the freshest ingredients sourced locally wherever possible. The cottage has two bedrooms and can sleep 4-6 guests (4 comfortably).


This lovely cottage has been our family bolt hole for over 80 years, and is a great destination for family beach holidays or grown-up weekend escapes, with the nearby pristine beaches, epic coastal walks, and Salcombe's cosy pubs and excellent restaurants. It includes A loft room with futon and Velux window and a pretty courtyard to relax or have a barbecue

The six cottages are within traditional Devon stone barns arranged around a central courtyard and converted to a high standard set within 3.5 acres of private grounds including a stream, wild flower meadow, copse and picnic area. Facilities include indoor heated swimming pool, sauna, hot tub, games room, children's play/games areas, laundry room and barbecue. Higher Beeson House is a hidden gem in the South Devon coastal countryside. Luxurious Bed and Breakfast in an informal, relaxed atmosphere set in a tranquil valley just under a mile from Beesands fishing village. 

Three of our rooms are in a stone barn which was converted from its former life of the farm stables; all are spacious, superior, individually designed en-suite bedrooms.  All rooms have super-king-size beds; one room has a four-poster bed.  There is a choice of shower or spa bath in the double en-suites; the four-poster room has shower and spa bath. New in 2010 is our Garden Room, another conversion from a small detached stone barn overlooking the garden and pond.   This is a twin bedded room; with en-suite shower room. All rooms are centrally heated and have 32”TVs and DVD players, beverage trays, hairdryers, ironing facilities and safes. Duvets and pillows are all hypoallergenic. There is a shared guests’ fridge. 

Relax in the owner’s dining room; a short walk across the courtyard, to enjoy a delicious, traditional Aga cooked breakfast using local produce.

Higher Whitestone Near Slapton

Higher Whitestone has beautiful breathtaking views across the countryside and to the sea. It is a place where you, your family and friends can take a break from the routine of home, by relaxing and enjoying the natural beauty that surrounds you, or by visiting the local attractions. Higher Whitestone is a spacious 3 bedroom bungalow in the heart of South Devon's countryside.


The small village of Slapton is 1.5 miles away, where there is a shop, a pub and a bus stop. If it's the sea you are after, it is 2.5 miles away, where you can walk along the Ley and take in the wildlife. Kingsbridge is a larger town, approximately 8.5 miles, where there are local shops aswell as a couple of supermarkets.

Colmer Estate is a unique collection of 20 holiday cottages set in the centre of the idyllic South Hams in South Devon. Each of the self catering holiday cottages is privately owned and enjoys its own style and individuality, but all share the same commitment to quality. The charming, old, stone buildings of Colmer’s original farming estate have been converted into rustic self catering holiday cottages which combine traditional character with modern convenience.

There is a Georgian Manor House which is now converted into individual holiday apartments. The 28 acres of grounds vary from landscaped lawns and walled gardens to wild woodland and meadows. There are heated indoor and outdoor pools, a tennis court, gym, safe play areas and a fishing lake. All of these facilities and more are provided free of charge. These are the ingredients of a perfect self catering holiday in Devon.
Milwheel Cottage has two bedrooms, spacious open-plan living and is ideal for up to 2 adults and 2 children + cot . Norton Park is about 1 mile from the Centre of the historic town of Dartmouth and about 7 miles to the equally historic Totnes.

We open for the month of August. The campsite is flat and grassy making it an ideal camping ground and it enjoys unspoilt panoramic views to Dartmoor.  We offer generous pitch sizes for you to make the most of your holiday. The campsite is spacious Conveniently located 10 minutes from the A38, between Dartmoor and the South Devon coast. THolsome Park Camping welcomes families with children and well behaved dogs.

South devon campsite.South Devon Campsite and Caravan Park - Old Cotmore Farm, near Stokenham - Small, quiet and friendly family run touring caravan park and campsite set in 22 acres of grounds in the South Hams region of Devon in an area of outstanding natural beauty. Situated between Salcombe and Dartmouth on the Start Point peninsular close to Kingsbridge within 1 mile of the village of Stokenham.
 
The site has only 30 pitches most with hard standing and all with power hook up. The facilities include spotless toilets and showers with free hot water, laundrette, small shop, childrens play area, free table tennis and table football. Two seperate fields, one for games and the other for exercising dogs. In August an additional field is opened for camping.
